This is a full size reproduction of the Spartan shield seen in popular by films like "300". Unlike metal versions of the shield, which are heavy and not practical to carry for extended period of times, this shield is made of a lightweight composite material and only weighs 5 pounds.. This shield is a great choice for costumes or theatrical re-enactment.
Please note: This shield is not durable enough to be used in any form or combat.
