There were few helmets as frightening as the knight’s Great Helm. Shaped like a cylinder, the helmet had cutouts for the eyes and usually some breathing holes, and that was about it. The geometric shape made the wearer seem less human – more scary.

This is a very high-quality leather version of a knight’s great helm, complete with eye slit and breathing notches. Decorative red flourishes cut upwards and sidewards forming what could be a Christian cross, or just a really cool pattern.

This helmet comes with an adjustable leather liner inside for a perfect fit that can adjust to fit a child from 10 years old or so all the way up to a medium-sized adult. No worries about outgrowing this fantastic helmet!
