This is a very verstile Medieval foam shield. It's based on a templar heater shield, but only in an abstract, distant cousin's borther-in-law sort of way.

For starters, the shield is a deep blue, which isn't terribly Templarish, but does look very nice. The cross at the center is abstracted enough to represent some other symbol; it's thinner and strikingly different from the thick Templar Cross.

I guess what I'm saying here is that the shield can be used as either a crusader shield, or it can be something completely different. Well, sort of. I mean, it can't really be a horse or a spear. It's pretty much limited to shield-like stuff. But it's a very versatile shield. Did I already say that? Did I mention that it's blue?

The shield has a realistic faux metal rim with faux bolts. Adjustable leather straps on the back provide the grip. The shield measures about 28 inches in height and about 1 3/4 inches thick. It's fairly light and easy to move, and it absorbs amazing amounts of punishment.
