I am truly in love with this foam sword. It’s a foam version of the famous Flamberge-style swords. What is a Flamberge sword, you ask? Well, you’re looking at one silly.

Okay, okay, a flamberge sword is a sword with a wavy blade, like this one. There were lots of reasons why these swords were supposed to be very good in battle, but the only one that really counts is that they looked so darn cool.

This foam flamberge is an extremely durable copy of a real flamberge. The guard on this one is similar to our Dark Infantry Sword guard, in that is curves downward in a sort of mischievous way. Unlike the Dark Infatry, this features a star graphic at the center of the guards. This makes the sword equally useable by “good guys” and “bad guys.”

This Mainz Gladius is part of our Echelon series and is rugged, attractive, and cost effective. It’s perfect for Live Action Role Playing, cosplay, Halloween, theatrical use or sparring/weapons training.
