Nothing is more inconspicuous than a good hooded cloak. I, myself, wear one every time I visit that adult bookstore downtown, and people dont even look at me (come to think of it, people tend to actually avoid me altogether).

There are many types of cloaks. The hooded cloak, the noble cloak, the Cloak of Elvenkind, and the Cuckoo Cloak. Oh, and if you listen carefully at night, you can sometimes hear the frogs cloak. I have obviously failed to study hard enough for this description, so I will get to the meat of it and spare you any more intelligence-draining stupidity from my cottage cheese brain.

This simple cape will go with any period outfit. It can be worn by Men or Women. The cape features a full hood and ties at the neck. Made of cotton and is unlined.

The flintlock pistol was the greatest advance in pirating since the wooden leg. The concept was fairly simple: gunpowder was stuffed into the barrel. A lead ball, usually wrapped in some sort of fabric, was stuffed in. A hammer was then pulled back half-way and left that way until the gun was ready to fire. The pistol technically was not meant to fire in this position, although sometimes they were known to go off half-cocked (and yes, that is the origin of that expression). When the gun was ready to be fired, the hammer was pulled back all the way and the trigger was squeezed.
