This may sound really strange, but I want breeches to come back into style. Honestly. I mean, look at them. They’re probably the most comfortable pants ever made. Baggy for ultimate comfort no matter how much weight you’ve gained or (as in my case). They stop at the knees so they won’t get caught under your heel or get wet when you cross a puddle (or bloodstained when you clean up the mangled corpse in your basement).

These particular pair of comfortable breeches are made from black cotton. They are identical in every way to that fuzzy recollection you have of breeches from history books that you sort of remember reading in high school. The waistband has a drawstring for a perfect fit and we’ve even included a pair of tailored pockets hidden in the seams.

These breeches are perfect for any historical costume or, if I have my way, for any contemporary event as well.

Roughneck Medieval Pants

When Strongblade refers to a "Battle Sword," we are referring to most European medieval swords with blades longer than 35” or so. These type of swords included hand-and-a-half swords (sometimes refered to as Bastard Swords) and the big two-handed swords. Real battle swords had blades well in excess of this, and, in fact, a 35" sword was considered a bit skimpy for fighting skirmishes. But for home use and light sparring, a 36" blade is fairly long.
