Now this is a dress that can be worn by just about anyone. Got a saucy wench who's as good in a bar fight as she is in a bed? Here you go. Prefer a gentle maiden who is as demure as she is beautiful? Have at it! You're a male school principal looking for something to slip on at night while stroking your hair and putting on bright red lipstick? Well ... I ... um. I guess this would ... uh ... work for you.

This Irish style dress is made from cotton, so it's wonderfully light, cool and extremely comfortable. Oh, and it's splendidly affordable, too! The corset portion of the dress is boned with spring steel for a dangerously attractive bosom lift that also helps to reinforce the lacing grommets on the front. And as an added bonus, the corset can be reverersed to black.

This dress is best worn with one of our Gathered Skirts and one of our chemise (the Trimmed Chemise is particularly good, available with gold or silver trim). Grab our Ring Belt too for a perfect finishing touch.

Sizing
We don't use the vanity sizing that many stores use (the system where a dress could be a size 5 in one store and the same dress would be a size 3 in another). We actually use exact waist measurements. So, just measure your waist, pick the appropriate dress and be assured of a perfect fit.

Waist sizes: Size A: 22" to 25 7/8”, Size B: 26" to 29 7/8”, Size C: 30" to 34”, Size D: 35" to 39”, Size E:40" to 44”, Size F:45" to 49”. Outer and Inner Colors: Admiral Navy, Jewel Black, Hunter Green, Rouge, Flame Red, Purple.

Although the term rapier has become synonymous with any narrow-bladed sword (particularly those with fancy hilts), the term rapier actually applied to only a select few types of swords. Rapiers were narrow (usually one and a quarter inches wide), quite long, fairly heavy, and usually had only a slight edge on them. The extremely long length of the rapiers made them a bit heavy and cumbersome, not at all the Errol Flynn or Zorro-type small-swords that most people think of.
