Scratch and Dent - This sword may have minor leather damage to the grip. Price has been reduced because of this.

This viking sword is a hand-crafted replica of the swords carried by norse raiders in the 8th through 10th centuries. These blades were devastating in the lightning raids that the vikings executed across the world.

The blade is a hand-forged high-carbon 18 gauge steel and the cross and pommel are hammered brass. The grip and sheath are both leather-wrapped wood, with brass accents on the sheath.

Perhaps the focal point of this weapon is the flared arms of the guard, which jut out at a 90 degree angle from the grip, with very little curve. These flared tips give the sword a wonderful sense of personality and the proper touch of grace.

The Comfortable grip is a hand-carvedc hardwood with a black leather wrap. It's a very comfortable sword to hold and swing. Comes with a custom fit hand carved sheath made from wood and wrapped with black leather. The sheath has brass accents at the throat and tip and a brass peg at the back for insertion into a frog or belt.

In all, this a powerful looking sword, refined, with a savage glint to it that would complete any outfit (or grace any wall).

The flintlock pistol was the greatest advance in pirating since the wooden leg. The concept was fairly simple: gunpowder was stuffed into the barrel. A lead ball, usually wrapped in some sort of fabric, was stuffed in. A hammer was then pulled back half-way and left that way until the gun was ready to fire. The pistol technically was not meant to fire in this position, although sometimes they were known to go off half-cocked (and yes, that is the origin of that expression). When the gun was ready to be fired, the hammer was pulled back all the way and the trigger was squeezed.
