The king of Stormhold launched the pendant into the heavens and set a challenge for his sons; he who finds the pendant will be the next king. But something unexpected occurred.

On it's upward arc, the pendant struck a star. The star was knocked from its orbit and plummeted to the earth, landing in the form of a beautiful woman named Yvaine. From her neck hung The Power of Stormhold. And so began an epic chase for the pendant, the girl, her heart (literally), and the future of Stormhold.

The pendant is carved with the Boar and Eagle - the symbols of the Stormhold Coat of Arms - and capped with the royal crown of Stormhold. But the most impressive piece of the pendant is the magical stone set in the center. A moonstone-white crystal, large and brilliant as a star.

Okay, the legend aside, this pendant ROCKS! It's a licensed, limited edition, slightly scaled version of the Power of Stormhold, based on the actual prop worn by the actress Claire Danes (and Peter O'Toole for that matter). It features a breathtaking, huge, genuine Swarovski crystal that has a shine worthy of any shooting star. The pendant is plated in a hand-antiqued, 24k gold and is made in England (not far from the village of Wall, we think) by master craftsmen. What do we mean by hand-antiqued? We mean that every single pendant is picked up by a human and weathered by hand. We mean that no two of these are the same; every single one of these is slightly differernt than all of the others. It comes with a playfully braided 24k gold plated chain and a lavishly whimsical spring-lid jewelry box.

When Strongblade refers to a "Battle Sword," we are referring to most European medieval swords with blades longer than 35” or so. These type of swords included hand-and-a-half swords (sometimes refered to as Bastard Swords) and the big two-handed swords. Real battle swords had blades well in excess of this, and, in fact, a 35" sword was considered a bit skimpy for fighting skirmishes. But for home use and light sparring, a 36" blade is fairly long.
