Product Description
The Ghurkas were the special forces soldiers of India, and they were among the baddest mofos to ever wage war. The chief of staff of the Indian army once said: "If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or is a Ghurka." Yeah. They were that bad-ass.
The kukri dagger is a symbol of these amazing warriors. Curved for swift strikes and lethal beheading power, the kukri is a worthy weapon for these celebrated soldiers. Used both for utility and as a weapon, the Kukri traces its ancestry back to Iberian falcata, and possibly farther back than that.
This particular kukri is manufactured by Strongblade's Indian partners, who have been providing soldiers with authentic kukris for more than eighty years. Three generations of weaponsmiths have worked to provide you with the most authentic and lethally beautiful dagger possible. Hold one of these, and you are holding history.
The Strongblade Kukri features a curved blade and a polished hardwood handle that has been peened with brass accents. The curved blade is approximately 11 inches long and has been made from a superb high-carbon steel. Please note this blade has "India" engraved on blade, a proud badge of authenticity for a highly respected Indian weapon. The Strongblade Kukri includes a decorated leather sheath.
