The argument could be made that, of all the gods in all the known pantheons, Thor was the coolest. I mean, really, how many other gods had their own comic book?

Thor was of course the God of Thunder, which really has to be the best thing to be a god of. Sure, lightning hurts and fire burns, but nothing has quite the *presence* of a nearby thunder boom. He rode the skies with Mjolnir -- his mighty hammer -- creating loud deafening thunder with it (recent science has tried to prove that the sound was actually made by flapping a gigantic cookie sheet when no one was looking, but I refuse to believe that).

This amulet is a perfect blend of carved pewter, glistening stone and leering resin. I've tried many times to figure out what makes this pendant look so good. It has something to do with the way the yellowish resin skull sits on the gilded pewter. Perhaps its the bright color against the neutral metal, or perhaps the flaring hammer shape beneath the glistening blue stone on top. Who can say? I do know that whoever designed this piece did an astonishing job of making a war amulet look as beautiful as it is fierce.

Comes with a silver chain and an autographed chip from Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer (okay, there's no chip from Thor's hammer included, but we're in talks with his agent to try to set something up. Gods can be soooo temperamental).

When Strongblade refers to a "Battle Sword," we are referring to most European medieval swords with blades longer than 35” or so. These type of swords included hand-and-a-half swords (sometimes refered to as Bastard Swords) and the big two-handed swords. Real battle swords had blades well in excess of this, and, in fact, a 35" sword was considered a bit skimpy for fighting skirmishes. But for home use and light sparring, a 36" blade is fairly long.
