If you're looking for authenticity in construction, than you're not going to do much better than this hand-made Roman Pugio.

The pugio is crafted in the classical style, with sweat and hammers and humans. A hand forged, 8.5 inch blade features the typical wasp-waist of the true roman pugios. A long spine, basically a reverse fuller, runs the length of the blade, giving it strength and character.

The grip on this dagger is simple but amazingly solid. It has a great heft to it, which balances the blade nicely and keeps the weapon in your hand. The sheath is decorated elaborately with embosses and studded brass, and sports four belt loops.

Sheathed or unsheathed, this is a gorgeous dagger that is historically accurate in look and construction.
