Can there be anything quite so cool as an ancient Greek soldier wearing a Corinthian style helmet? These things are without doubt one of the most fantastic helmet styles ever designed. With it's long cheek plates and jutting nose plates this helmet is the epitome of style and good design. Throw in the horsehair crest on top and you've got every Greek babe in the vicinity offering you their laurels. Heck, any woman, really.

This Greek helmet is made in polished brass. It's almost exactly the same as our SBH-CORINTHIAN except for the more historically accurate brass (the SBH-CORINTHIAN is made of steel).

The Corinthian helmet has been recognized as one of the most important military inventions in history. The design, usually made from a single piece of metal, provided excellent protection, suberb vision and sent chills down the backs of enemies.

Our Corinthian is made from 18-gauge high carbon steel and feature a gorgeous crest made from fine stitched leather and oodles of horse-hair. It comes with a leather liner for wearing and a high-quality polished stand for display. One of the finest helmets that we sell.

If you are interested in a Steel version, see the photo link below.

Although the term rapier has become synonymous with any narrow-bladed sword (particularly those with fancy hilts), the term rapier actually applied to only a select few types of swords. Rapiers were narrow (usually one and a quarter inches wide), quite long, fairly heavy, and usually had only a slight edge on them. The extremely long length of the rapiers made them a bit heavy and cumbersome, not at all the Errol Flynn or Zorro-type small-swords that most people think of.
