When Frank Miller dreamed up his re-telling of the ancient story of Leaonidas and his crew, this is the type of brooch that they wore. It can be worn on a cloak, on a belt, around really tiny wrists. You name it.

This antiqued brass brooch is the perfect add-on to any Spartan costume. It's also a great gift item for any die-hard Spartans in your life. A two button snap closure makes this a (dare we say it?) snap to put on or take off, and makes it extremely versatile.

The Spartans were reknowned for their ferocity and for their military strength and skill.
