Is there any superhero costume cooler than the Iron Man suit in Paramount Pictures' Iron Man movie? Um... well, no. Truth be told, there isn't. But let's talk supervillains shall we? Can there be any cooler supervillain outfit than that of Iron Monger? And I say, NO! There simply can't be!
Obadiah Stane's Iron Monger outfit was made much larger than Tony Stark's Iron Man suit (larger size equals more power, don't you know). It'd be a little tricky packing an entire reproduction of the Iron Monger outfit into a box and shipping it to all of you (I think the term "some assembly required" would hardly cover it). So, we're doing the next best thing. We'll send a life-sized reproduction of the Iron Monger Helmet.
This thing is ginormous (Yes, it's a real word. Look it up). It's 14 inches tall, 11.5 inches wide, and 13 inches deep. It's a perfect 1:1 reproduction of the Iron Monger helmet from the movie. I know what you're thinking. "How the hell am I going to wear a helmet that big?" Well, stop thinking, because the helmet has is fully lined and padded, allowing it to fit on anyone's head. And for those times when you don't want it on your head, it comes with a display stand.
The helmet is made from hand-forged steel, which, on retrospect, is a little ironic. And, come to think of it, the term ironic is ironic in regards to this item, so that last sentence is almost lethally ironic. (Those who followed that, please fill in the rest of the class on what I'm talking about). We couldn't find Omnium Steel (the mythical metal used by Tony Stark) so we figured a good, hand-forged steel would be best.
THe Iron Monger helmet is so retro-funky cool looking that it calls to mind the old Rocketeer helmet. It features tinted eye lenses and is, as I've mentioned a few times to your no-doubt consternation, an exact replica of the one in the Iron Man movie.
This is a ridiculously limited edition. Only 250 of these will be made. Ever. Ever ever. In fact, I'm not sure why we're even writing this big description when the thing's are probably going to be sold out next week. My point being that you should really grab one of these before they're gone.
