The skull is always the sign of a ridiculously tough opponent. This is true for a variety of reasons. First, a skull was historically the sign for "I will give no mercy," which means that if you lose, you expect no mercy from your opponent. Also, almost as important, if you wear a skull on your armor and you suck, you end up looking silly; so not only will you die, but they'll laugh at you as they kill you and take away any possibility of a dignified death.
It's because of this that there bracers are usually reserved for either the most skilled, the most evil, or the most fearsome villains in the game. The skulls on these bracers are stylized in an otherwordly, staccato fashion that gives them a more demonic, uncomfortable appearance. The bracers are secured and tightened with waxed leather thongs (included).
These bracers are part of our Premiere series, which means that they're part of the best quality leather bracer line that we sell. The skulls on these vambraces will be still be leering when your own skull starts to show.
These tend to run a little small, so if you think you need a medium, you might need a large. Large should fit just about everybody. Smalls are pretty darn small -- good for children or ... well, people with really small arms.
Standard Leather Collection
These bracers are a part of our "Standard Leather" collection. These bracers are meant to be affordable while still retaining many of the best features of their ultra high end "LeatherWorks" collection. Craftsmen use a proprietary coloring technique to bring out the highlights of the leather and to apply the richest colors possible. The designs are relatively simple to keep cost down, but the result is still better than most bracers on the market today.
These bracers are years ahead of most of the competition. While others are busy trying to hide rivets and spikes needed to cinch the leather together, our crafters have moved on to bigger and better techniques. They have abandoned these crude, cheap methods for crafting leather goods and have switched to 100% stitched materials. This gives much more authenticity and quality to their materials and is more in keeping with the time-honered techniques of leatherworking.
Each of these bracers is rigorously tested and quality controlled. You will not find more consistently high quality craftsmanship on mass-market leather goods.
