The Blackwater Pirate Cutlass LARP sword is the essential pirate weapon. It's a fairly typical style of pirate sword, but it has some fantastic stylistic traits that raise it above the everyday latex saber. It's clear that the artist who designed this weapon has a brilliant grasp on pirate swords and the pirate spirit. All of the key features of a pirate sword have been embellished in this weapon, made larger than life and given more character. The guard looks as if it has been made from a rough, sea-weathered brass. The grip from a rough and barnacled bone, horn or possibly driftwood. Both guard and grip have been twisted and warped slightly (much like me) to add personality and character. At the top of the guard, near the pommel, a hanging hook has been added (although it's more for show than function).
