Marmorean Troopers love their swords, but there's nothing they like better than putting an axe through their opponent.

This Celtic-style foam battle axe is light, fast and durable. It's made in Europe, with a strong carbon fiber core, a layer of rugged foam, and a proprietary coating of painted latex for stability and protection.

The weapon features a comfortable suedette-wrapped grip that's recessed for better hand protection and traction. It also comes with the spirit of one bloodthirsty Marmorean, ready to help you pound the snot out of your opponents. (Marmorean spirit not available in all states. Please check the laws on transporting angry spirits in your municipality).

When Strongblade refers to a "Battle Sword," we are referring to most European medieval swords with blades longer than 35” or so. These type of swords included hand-and-a-half swords (sometimes refered to as Bastard Swords) and the big two-handed swords. Real battle swords had blades well in excess of this, and, in fact, a 35" sword was considered a bit skimpy for fighting skirmishes. But for home use and light sparring, a 36" blade is fairly long.
