Very loosely based on the fearsome German Zweihander, this monstrous fantasy sword is similar in design to that carried by Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian in the many books, comic books, graphic novels, television shows and movies.

The sword is one of the fiercest looking weapons that we carry. It has a massive 36" blade made from high-carbon steel and a polished hardwood hilt that can best be described as a two-hands-and-a-half grip. The overall length of this weapon is a frightening 49". The cross is a thick, lavishly gilded brass that continues up through the edges of the immense ricasso. Tabbed protrusions at the top of the ricasso provide additional protection to the hand when in the leverage position.

Despite its size, the sword handles well, thanks in part to the long hilt and thick pommel. It comes with a tough black leather scabbard that ties onto the ricasso, leaving a small portion of the blade and the amazing cross exposed. This could be considered battle ready, but the brass traveling up the ricasso might take some damage after time.
