For all their safety features and careful design, LARP instruments still hurt. Yes, it's a manly sort of pain, one that you shrug off while shaking your head for the dumb mistake you made, but pain nonetheless. Strap on some LARP bracers, or LARP greaves, or a LARP shield to take the sting out of your screwups.
