The Aethelbert Yew-stave Tankard is a Beautifully Crafted Design with fine pewter from England. The cup has a distinct cross at the base of the handle.
Aethelberht was King of Kent from about 580 or 590 until his death.
The last 20 years of his life he was known to have become a good king and a good Christian. Therefore, this cup was crafted with a cross made for a king.
