This towering shield features leather straps on the backside for a comfortable grip and a thick foam construction with a rugged layer of latex over the top. It's fairly light for its size, so you can hold it for a long time without fatigue setting in. It is painted in a typical Roman schema and has the accurate semi-cylindrical profile of period shields. With this curved profile, the shield could cover a soldier's sides and front at the same time, making it a powerful fortification against enemies.
