LARP Foam Bardiche

A bardiche is a polearm used in Medieval and Renaissance times. What characterizes a bardiche is that the blade is attached to the pole or handle by two connecting sockets as opposed to a normal axe that usually only has one socket that slides onto the handle. Our LARP Bardiche is made from extremely durable foam that does not shred and sealed with a strong coating of latex. Safety is always an issue in LARP, that is why these have a round flexible glass fiber core with strong Kevlar core tip protection.
The pole has a wood look to it and the color may vary in tone from light brown to dark brown.
Latex bardiche do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a Maintenance Silicone that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the Silicone on a regular basis, it is an easy, spray on application. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and make the bardiche last much longer. The maintenance silicone protects the coating from drying out, and helps the bardiche resist wear and tear.
