16th Century Spanish Gown

They say the women of Andalucia are among the most beautiful in the world. Well, slap one of these dresses on them and you'll probably think you'd seen a goddess.

I, personally, have a great affinity for this dress. Its Spanish-French influenced style, slashed sleeves and peekaboo petticoat give me a warm, happy feeling inside. And the square, trimmed neckline and Fleur de Lys hardware along the front seal the deal.

This beautiful gown is made from cotton-velveteen, with twill and satin linings. The twill lining keeps the bodice area stiff (but comfortable) for the perfect profile without needing a corset. The satin keeps you cool and shiny (to slip a Firefly reference in there. $1 off this dress if you understood that last comment).(editor's note: Okay. We'll allow it. You can choose your color for both the dress and the petticoats, which is an excellent option. You can also choose to add a hoop skirt (and a bumroll too) to the outfit for a more regal look.

We don't use the vanity sizing that many stores use (the system where a dress could be a size 5 in one store and the same dress would be a size 3 in another). We actually use exact waist measurements. So, just measure your waist, pick the appropriate dress and be assured of a perfect fit.
